As the effects of COVID-19 continue to ripple throughout North America, many United Way staff members have found themselves working from home. While that doesn’t mean that there’s any less work to do, we want to support those of you who are practicing social distancing.

Since working from home can become monotonous and COVID-19 seems to be the only thing people can talk about, we wanted to open up our library of recorded webinars for free to you and the staff of your United Way.

For a limited time, we’re offering the opportunity for each United Way to have access to up to two of our recorded webinars. Our hope is that access to our webinars will help break up the monotony of working from home and give United Way team members an opportunity to share ideas and discuss something other than the coronavirus.

Our webinars cover all sorts of topics – from affinity groups to board engagement to diversified revenue – so there’s a webinar for everyone. If you’re interested in watching two of our webinars, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Browse our selection of recorded webinars in our resource center and choose up to two recordings you would like for you and other staff members to be able to watch.

  2. Send us an email at info@perspectives4uw.com with the name of your United Way and the webinar(s) you’re interested in watching. Please note that there is a limit of two free webinars per United Way.

  3. After you’ve contacted us, we will send you an email with instructions for how you and everyone else at your United Way can access your requested webinars through April 15.

We will accept webinar access requests through 5 p.m. ET on Monday, March 23 or until we have received 50 requests, whichever comes first. Please note that we have limited office hours on Friday. Therefore, if you make a request on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and don’t hear from us, please rest assured that we be in contact with you on Monday.

Although the next few weeks are uncertain, we find comfort in the fact that we’re all in this together. We are so grateful for the good work all of you and your United Ways are doing in your community as we traverse these uncharted waters.

We hope you all remain safe and healthy,

Gary & Sarah
