Strategic Planning Process
There are four elements to our strategic planning process: research, direction, strategies, and planning.
Research: Understanding the perceptions and needs of your donors, community, partner agencies, and workplace campaigns is the first step to developing a successful strategic plan. Together, we will ensure you have input from all of your stakeholders to inform your strategic planning process.
Direction: Using the input from your stakeholders, we will help your United Way to clarify your purpose. We will help you refine or develop your mission, vision, and bold goals for what your United Way will achieve in partnership with your community.
Strategies: We will share with you a variety of proven strategies which have been used successfully by other United Ways to grow their resources under management, simplify marketing and messaging, and become leaders of change in their community.
Planning: We will help you pick the best strategies for your United Way and develop a comprehensive strategic plan for your impact/investment, resource development, and marketing/engagement efforts that will achieve your purpose and bold goals.
